History of Wrigley Building Clock Tower
The Wigley building was modeled on the Giralda tower of the cathedral in Seville. The Wrigley building consists of two sections: the tallest 27 story south building features 398 ft tall tower which was completed in 1921. The northern section featuring 21 story building was completed in 1924.

The Chicago Clock Tower is located on the south building of the Wrigley Tower. It features four large 6 meter diameter dials. The clock hour and minute hands are made with aluminum and are 6 ft and 9 ft long. The building is crowned with a cupola modeled after the Monument of Lysicrates in Athens.

Tribune Tower Chicago
The Tribune Tower is a neo-Gothic skyscraper – Tribune Tower, Gothic Revival 36-floor office building, located at 435 N. Michigan Ave., in downtown Chicago, which opened in 1925 as headquarters for the Chicago Tribune.
