Picture is taken from the 9th floor of Illinois Masonic Hospital in Chicago. Excellent sunset giving the glimpse of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, the historic Church standing since 1889.

St. Alphonsus Catholic Church Quick History:
Land for the Saint Alphonsus Catholic Church was bought from the Union Mutual Life Insurance company in 1882.

Construction of the church started in 1889 that was finished in 1897. It was designed by Adam Boos.
