Picture shows the Cloud Gate, known as “The Bean” after storm passed through downtown. Are you wondering why is it so empty in picture? The Bean is made out of shiny stainless steel metal which may attract lightening during storm. Whenever there is a thunder storm passing, security will vacate the place for people safety.

Cloud Gate, “The Bean” sculpture was designed by architect Anish Kappor. Construction started in February 2004 and was opened to the public in 2006.
