Chicago is multi cultured metro city  that has strong Irish community. St. Patrick’s Day is celebrated unique way in Chicago. As part of the celebration every year the Chicago river is dyed using green color. Eco-friendly green color is sprayed into the water using boats in Chicago river. Main parade starts in downtown Chicago along columbus drive from Balbo Drive to Monroe st.
