Overall, Go Chicago Card includes majority of all attractions – museums, aquariums, cruise, amusement park and tours. Considering the list of attractions, I would say you will save lot of money on admission tickets compared to purchased at regular ticket window.

If you plan ahead of time and group together the attractions based on distance and your interest then you will be able to cover everything you want to do in Chicago. Skip-the line privilege is time saver as you do not have to wait for in a long queue. For example, queue at Shedd Aquarium and Field Museums can be very time consuming but with skip-the line privilege save your time, especially during summer season.

Do not ignore the included extra coupon and guidebook. With Go Chicago card purchase you get discounts to restaurants and shopping stores. Go Chicago card included discount offers savings at famous places such as the Goose Island Brew Pub, the House of Blues and American Girl.

There is not a single cons of this card. But, we have to keep in mind that your pass is valid until 5:30 pm. If you are going to use first time for activation then make sure you do it earlier in the day. If you activate the card at 5 pm then you loose one day because card is not accepted after 5:30 pm. You might be able to see only one attraction where you have activated your card as most of all attractions stops admission after 5:30 pm. I would say it is really not a downside. It just need a little planning.

When it comes to savings, I recommend you to purchase more days for your Go Chicago card. If you buy 1-Day pass then you can visit most 3 attractions per day. But with 7-Day pass you can take full advantage of the Go Chicago Card. I bet you will be able to visit almost all included attractions with 7-Day card. Do not push yourself to cover all attractions in short period of time. Overall, even if you can not make it to all attractions, still you will end up savings lot of money.
