The Beach Chicago Event at Navy Pier – January 19th through February 3rd, 2019

The Beach Chicago event at Navy Pier is scheduled from January 19th through February 3rd, 2019 in historic Aon Grand Ballroom. The Beach Chicago is free and open to the public. It’s a temporary installation of Snarkitecture to mimic the day near ocean.

Want to feel like spending a day at the beach in Chicago during winter? Plan a visit to The Beach Chicago event at Navy Pier. This Snarkitecture is created by New York based designers to mimic the sensation of a day at the beach.

It features a large open room filled with more than a million antimicrobial and recyclable plastic balls to mimic the beach sensation in the room. The deck chairs, lifeguard chairs, umbrellas and signage at the Beach Chicago creates the beach like feeling and appearance.

You must bring pair of extra socks at the Beach Chicago event as wearing shoes in the ball pit is strictly prohibited.

Important

Admission to the Beach Chicago is not guaranteed. Considering the high demand and popularity of the event, Navy Pier may have close the admission even during schedule hours.
