Chicago CityPASS gives you an opportunity to save both on time and money with VIP entry to different attractions and with the ticket booklet you have all the information you need including hours of operation, transport and contact information and insider tips.

There are different minimum ages for free entry to most of the venues. It is your decision whether you would prefer to buy a pass for infants and children to avoid the ticket line for verifying ages and also for paying an entry fee upon being admitted. You may opt to buy Child Pass for infants; however, it may not save you much.

Your voucher has to be exchanged at any one of the seven listed attractions in Chicago to get your Chicago CityPASS ticket booklet. It is mandatory to carry with you valid photo ID and it is important to know that the ticket booklet cannot be sent out in advance.

Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum and Sky Theater
It is open daily from 10:00am to 4:00pm (Memorial Day and Labor Day: 9:30am to 6:00pm)
It is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day

The Field Museum
It is open daily from 9:00am to 5:00pm (last admission at 4:00pm)
It is closed only on Christmas Day

Museum of Science and Technology
It is open Monday – Saturday from 9:30am to 4:00pm and Sunday from 11:00am to 4:00pm (Memorial Day to Labor Day & Holidays: Monday – Saturday from 9:30am to 5:30pm and Sunday from 11:00am to 5:30pm)
It is closed only on Christmas Day

Shedd Aquarium
It has different winter hours and summer hours.
The Winter Hours are: Monday – Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm and Saturday – Sunday from 9:00am to 6:00pm
The Summer Hours are: Daily from 8:00am to 6:00pm

John Hancock Observatory
It is open daily from 9:00am to 11:00pm (last admission at 10:45pm)

Skydeck Chicago
Between the months of April and September it is open from 9:00am – 10:00pm; Between the months of October and March it is open from 10:00am – 8:00pm; The last admission is permitted 30 minutes before closing

Art Institute of Chicago
It is open from Monday – Wednesday from 10:30am to 5:00pm and on Thursday from 10:30am to 8:00pm. Between Friday and Sunday, it is open from 10:30am to 5:00pm.
It is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

Adler Planetarium and Astronomy Museum and Sky Theater

Founded in 1930, this is America’s first planetarium and contains two full-size planetarium theaters. It also features the world’s first digital projection StarRider Theater and important and rare antique instrument collections.

The Field Museum

Museum of Science and Technology

Shedd Aquarium

John Hancock Observatory
A multi-million dollar renovation has truly made this an amazing attraction and it attracts a large number of visitors. John Hancock offers incredible views from its 94th floor and it also features Chicago’s only open-air skywalk, which is 1,000 feet above the Magnificent Mile.

Skydeck Chicago
You can enjoy unbelievable 360-degree views from the 103rd floor of Skydeck. The Skydeck is considered as the Western Hemisphere’s tallest building and on a clear day you can see up to four states.
