Sabroso! Mexican Grill offering authentic Mexican food in Ukranian village. Sabroso! Mexican Grill restaurant is very easy to miss while you are driving by, considering the fact that restaurant is behind large doors. But, behind those metal doors it’s entirely different world!
I loved the unique outdoor patio decor, it made it to one of my favorite places for dining outside during summer season. I loved the unique yard decor, featuring unfinished metal bulls sculptures by the fence, including metal horse and pic sculptures. Very well designed!

Sabroso! Mexican Grill gets busy for dinner and brunch during weekends. I went there for lunch, so place was pretty empty.
At Sabroso, staff is very friendly and always ready to help you decide food from the menu. Food menu at Sabroso is mainly focused on Mexican dishes including Fajitas, Burritos, Tacos, Enchilladas and many similar. Overall, cost of food is reasonable for the portion and quality.

At Sabroso Mexican Grill, We ordered Tacos and Enchilladas! You have a choice to customize your order. We ordered Chicken taco and steamed vegetables taco. Tacos were topped with lettuce, pico de gallo & questo fresco and served with Mexican rice and choice of beans. Compared to both tacos, Chicken taco was my #1 favorite! Authentic Mexican style taco, cooked perfectly! It reminded my trip to Cancun from Chicago.
Same way, we ordered one Cheese Enchilladas and second filled with steam vegetables and topped with queso fresco, cilanto, onions and sour cream. You have a choice to pick sauce. We ordered Enchilladas with green sauce. It also comes with Mexican rice and choice of beans on side.
It’s BYOB restaurant! You won’t get Margaritas at restaurants. So make sure to bring your bottle if you are planning to have some drinks over dinner!
Sabroso also caters for private events. so, if you are hosting a private party or an event then Sabroso could also be a good choice.
Overall, very good guest service and food quality. I am always looking for best taco places in Chicago, and I must say, Sabroso! Mexican Grill has made it to my best tacos in Chicago list! You may also want to check out Pueblo Nuevo in Portage Park for taco lunch!
