As we all know, there are limited outdoor activities during cold season, we are not afraid of cold days, but still it’s time to take advantage of warm days by enjoying activities in Chicago. When: Through NOVEMBER 4, 2018

When: October 5, 2018
Where: Millennium Park

COLUMBUS DAY PARADE

When: October 8, 2018 at 12:30 pm
Where: State St. from Wacker to Van Buren Chicago, IL 60605

This year on October 8th, it will be 65th The Columbus Day Parade in Chicago. It features over 150 units of bands, floats and marchers.

HALLOWEEN PARADE OF ARTISTS

When: October 20, 2018
Where: On Columbus Dr. moving North from Balbo to Monroe St.
Family friendly Halloween Parade of Artists will start on Columbus Drive moving north from Balbo street to Monroe street. This parade features dramatic displays of Halloween including live music, giant puppets, unique floats and more.

Haunted Halstead Halloween Parade

NORTHALSTED HALLOWEEN PARADE

When: October 31, 2018
Where: Halsted St from Belmont Ave to Brompton Ave, Chicago
Have fun at Haunted Halsted! Yes, this year it’s 22nd Northalsted Halloween Parade & Costume Contest. Parade will kick off at Halstead & Belmont intersection and march towards Brompton Ave. This parade has been ranked one of the top 10 Best Halloweens in USA by Fodor’s Travel Guide. I would say one of the best things to do in Chicago in October 2018.

LATINO MUSIC FESTIVAL

When: October 17 through November 18, 2018
Where: 55 W. Van Buren St., Suite 310 Chicago, IL 60605
Plan on attending the Chicago Latino Music Festival (CLMF), presented by the International Latino Cultural Center featuring Latin music from the Colonial Period to the 21st century. You will have great time enjoying classical music from Latin America and Spain.
